Ferodo Racing have an extensive history in producing performance car parts. Starting in 1897 in North Derbyshire countryside. Herbert Frood built the first laboratory for testing experiments in making brakes for horse-drawn carts. The company then went on to producing brake pads for the first motor buses in 1904 and later on in 1922 produced the first OE linings for mass produced cars.
The Ferodo products that we know and love today made their first big appearance in the racing world in 1926 when J.G. Parry-Thomas broke the world land speed record of 169mph (272 km/h) using Ferodo brakes.
Ferodo racing remains the first choice in the most important motorsport championships around the world due to their unstoppable braking power in the compounds of their brake pads.
